Wayzata Peewee B2 Yellow trekked into the sub-zero temps of Bemidji and emerged victors of the top lumberjack bracket this past weekend! They beat East Grand Forks, Eden Prairie, and Edina on the way before shutting out Chaska/Chanhassen 6-0 in the Championship game!

Wayzata Squirt C Silver team took 3rd place in the Albert Lea Tournament!
A big shoutout to the Peewee B2 Navy for earning 3rd place at the Marshall Battle at the Baron Tournament! The team showed relentless effort, outscoring their opponents 33-7 throughout the weekend and capping it off with a 6-2 victory over Armstrong Cooper to claim the hardware. Outstanding work, team!
Squirt B2 Royal took home the Gold at the Wayzata Freeze Tournament! They went 3-0-1 and played Andover, Champlin Park, Spring Lake Park, and defeated Edina in the championship!
Wayzata 15U B Gold team had another excellent tournament appearance, taking 2nd place in the Fargo Freeze. The team had impressive victories over the Marauders, Woodbury Royal, Rosemount, and Mandan before losing to Thief River Falls in the Championship game. Congratulations 15U B Gold!
Congratulations to the Wayzata Bantam B1 Gold boys who won the Sioux Falls Flyers A division tournament. They took down Waseca’s A team in a 3-2 championship game!
Peewee B1 White capped off their tournament schedule with a 1st place finish in Warroad, taking down the #3 team in state with an overall goal differential of 44 to 5! …This season they placed top 3 in all 4 of their tournaments, finishing 3rd - 3rd - 2nd - and now 1st. They are excited to carry this momentum into the 2025 district playoffs!
Stick taps to the 10U B2 Navy squad for snagging yet another Championship trophy—this time at the 2025 Lakeville Showdown! These players were on fire, hitting lucky number 7 across the board. They went 4-0, lighting the lamp with 7 goals in each game.
They sunk the Minnetonka Skippers in the Championship game with a commanding 7 to 2 victory, and outscoring opponents 28 - 2 over the weekend. Congratulations!!!
Shoutout to the Wayzata Girls 12U B1 Blue squad for clinching the Championship at the New Year’s Super Rink Spectacular! These girls dug deep, played with heart, and brought next-level teamwork all weekend long.
In a nail-biter of a championship matchup against a powerhouse Rochester team (21-3-1), the intensity was off the charts. With just 53 seconds left on the clock, the girls crashed the crease in a wild scramble and buried the game-winner. Absolute clutch play! Way to battle, Wayzata!
Bantam A takes 3rd Place at the 2025 Super Rink Spectacular New Year's Tournament!
Congratulations to the champions of The Cormick Cup in St. Paul! Wayzata Squirt C Ice fought hard and showed tremendous teamwork all weekend starting with an overtime win against Apple Valley/Burnsville and sealing the deal by shutting out Lakeville North 1-0 in the championship game. Way to go Team Ice!
Congratulations to the 15U B Gold team on their 1st place finish at the Danglefest Tournament. The team defeated Grand Rapids/Greenway, EP/Bloomington, Woodbury, and Rosemount before clinching the championship game against Edina in double overtime!

The girls went 3-0 in their pool, beating the Spartacats, Chaska/Chan, and Centennial/SLP. They dominated Edina in the semi final 6-1, then shutout Chaska/Chan in the championship game 4-0. Congrats girls!
Bantam B1 Blue took 2nd at the Edina 56th Annual Invitational Tournament on New Year’s Day. Congrats boys! Way to kick off 2025!

Congratulations to the Squirt B2 Yellow team for taking third place in Walker’s City on the Bay Tournament! There were incredible individual and team performances for wins against Spring Lake Park (6-2), a final goal with :37 seconds left to beat Ely 6-5 and an 8-2 victory over Waconia.
What a weekend for the 12U B1 Blue squad! They battled through Willmar, LDC, and Orono to punch their ticket to the championship game. B1 Blue brought the heat all weekend, sharpening their grit and skill with every game. In the championship game, they faced off against River Lakes, a powerhouse team with a 23-1-1 record. On any given Sunday, when every player shows up with grind and compete, every period, every shift—that's when Champions are made. Congratulations to 12U B1 Blue Champions for leaving it all on the ice, playing with heart, relentless determination, and an unshakable belief in each other. Way to earn it, team!
Coming into the final day of tournament play, the Squirt B2 Yellow team was ranked fourth, but beat the first-ranked Chaska team to move to the Championship round. Finishing second this tournament is the culmination of a lot of great plays and hard work from the whole team!

Squirt C Ice finished as the runners up in the Wayzata Fire On Ice tournament. They entered the championship game 4-0, having outscored their opponents 25-3 through those games. Great work boys!!!
Squirt A Blue went undefeated in the New Hope Classic Tourney this weekend and brought home the chip! Congratulations boys on winning the Championship!
Bantam B1 Gold won the Flow at the Falls tournament in Fergus Falls. They beat Woodbury, Blaine and Grand Forks in pool play and St Francis in the championship.

Peewee B2 Yellow fought hard in Grand Forks all weekend long to take the top spot in their pool, grinded out a win against a tough Grand Rapids team before taking 2nd place in the championship game against St. Vital. Way to go Boys!

They took down tough rivals like Edina and Minnetonka and delivered a commanding 6 - 1 victory over Orono-Westonka in the Championship game. The team outscored their opponents 24-3 throughout the tournament, showcasing their dominance on the ice.
